Hello!

I'm a 24 yr old French housewife trying to sell books on Amazon. French, English, Italian, Hebrew... kiddie books to deep philosophy... I've had 14 orders in 11 days. :)

But I have a few questions since I'm very new at this.

-They say with a fee I can have a page with all my stock listed, for customers to see. Is that worth it?

-Sometimes I'm the only one to sell a book, but they say the price in new should be, let's say, 10,99 euros. Can I sell my (non new) book that price or more, given amazon doesn't provide it? Or will no one want it?

-How come some books can be huge and cost 0.01, while others are 50 (!) + ?

Thank you and I look forward to getting to know more people from here! :)

I think you can price books for whatever you want.

The really low-priced ones are people figuring on making some profit via the shipping, since shipping usually costs less than Amazon charges and reimburses for.

The expensive ones are books that the seller thinks are rare, or otherwise desirable, and so want to charge for that.
